Maya Saravia

These drawings are the result of a short animation made by the artist using videos (real, that is, they are not animations) that can be found on YouTube. The girl in Dabke was part of a group that danced the Dabke (traditional dance from the Levant region) in the Great March of Return in 2018. The boy is part of a group of Parkour practitioners in Gaza. The artist recreated their steps with avatars she designed.
